Product description
Silver glossy dropper 71 mm is an elegant and practical accessory for glass medicine bottles and bottles with a dropper neck, designed for precise and controlled dosing of liquid preparations. Thanks to its high-quality body and sealing system, it enables convenient use in cosmetic and craft formulations where cleanliness, safe handling and repeatable dosing of small volumes are important.
This dropper is suitable for packaging various types of liquids – from cosmetic serums and oils to concentrated aromatic blends – while reducing the risk of unwanted spillage and helping to keep the contents of the bottle protected from excessive contact with air and contamination.
Possible uses
- preparation and dosing of cosmetic serums, oils, facial elixirs, boosters and active concentrates
- application of hair and beard oils, caring oil blends and nail and cuticle care
- dosing of aromatherapeutic oils and concentrated blends for diffusers or massage preparations
- working solutions for DIY formulators – test samples, prototype formulas and trial batches
Packaging benefits
- Precise dosing – the drop system allows you to apply small, consistent amounts of product without unnecessary waste.
- Clean and controlled application – minimizes contact of the contents with the skin of the hands and the external environment, thereby helping to maintain formulation stability.
- Comfortable handling – the ergonomically designed dropper ensures comfortable use even with everyday application.
- Aesthetic appearance – the glossy silver finish gives the bottle a professional and attractive look suitable for branded and gift packaging.
Combining with closures and dispensers
This dropper is intended for use with compatible glass medicine bottles and bottles available in the Handymade range. When selecting a suitable container, follow the neck parameters and the recommended combination given in the product detail. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products containing acids, a high proportion of alcohol or essential oils.
Technical parameters
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
FAQ – Frequently asked questions
Before first use, check that the neck of the bottle is clean and dry. Gently place the dropper onto the neck and then tighten it evenly until you feel slight resistance. Do not overtighten the thread by force, so as not to damage the sealing elements. After screwing on, briefly turn the bottle upside down and check whether any unwanted leakage of product occurs – if so, carefully tighten the dropper or check whether the bottle and closure match each other dimensionally according to the recommended combinations in the product detail.
The dropper is designed primarily for dosing standard liquid cosmetic preparations and oils with low to medium viscosity. With very thick oils or gel textures, dripping may be slower, and it is advisable to carry out a trial filling on a small sample to verify whether the dosing rate suits the purpose of your formulation. If necessary, consider using another type of closure or applicator from the Handymade range.
The dropper can be reused as long as you follow strict hygiene principles and the sealing system and dosing part are not damaged. Before each new filling, the dropper must be mechanically cleaned, rinsed with a suitable medium and then disinfected, for example using IPA or ethanol products. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, and it is important to follow the recommended procedure for working with alcohols and to let all parts dry thoroughly before reuse.
If you decide not to reuse the dropper and the associated packaging, we recommend emptying them, wiping off product residues with a paper towel and separating the individual parts according to the material used, as stated in the parameter table for the specific product on Handymade. Depending on the type of material, the packaging can be sorted into the appropriate collection container – most often sorting according to plastic or glass components, or mixed waste for parts that cannot be recycled separately. Always follow local waste sorting rules and the manufacturer’s recommendations given in the product parameters.
When choosing a suitable bottle, medicine bottle or jar, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories on Handymade. The advanced filter is located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category and allows you to conveniently filter by parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material. This makes it easy to find a container that is compatible with the selected closure or dropper and at the same time meets the visual and functional requirements of your product.
