This formulation was prepared for you by our formulator Ida, whom you may also know from Instagram as @si.nature. This time she focused on men’s skin and created a simple, functional toner inspired by the Japanese approach to skincare.

Helps replenish hydration and supports a fresh and comfortable skin feel. Before incorporating it, pre-mix it in glycerin, which makes it easier to work evenly into the aqueous formulation.
The formulation is rounded off by Sodium PCA – 1% — a component of the skin’s natural moisturising factor that helps bind water and contributes to a pleasantly hydrated skin feel — and Allantoin – 0.3% — an ingredient popular for its soothing and protective properties.

Procedure
- Hygiene and preparation
When making cosmetics, hygiene is fundamental. First, thoroughly disinfect all tools, containers and packaging.
- Mixing the hydrosols
Gradually mix the hydrosols and then add the individual active ingredients. After each addition, mix the blend thoroughly.
Aqueous phase - Pre-mixing the hyaluronic acid
Pre-mix the low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid in 0.5 g of glycerin. This makes it easier to incorporate evenly into the aqueous formulation.
- Adding the active ingredients
Gradually add Centella asiatica, niacinamide, panthenol B5, Sodium PCA and allantoin.
- Preservative
Finally, add the preservative and mix everything thoroughly once again.
- Checking and adjusting the pH
Before filling, check the pH of the final product and adjust it if needed so that it is suitable for both the skin and the preservative system used.
- Filling
Fill the finished toner into disinfected packaging.
