You determine the compatibility of the cap with your bottle according to the type and size of the thread given in the product parameters for both items. The cap must only be combined with packaging that has the same thread designation. After delivery we recommend carrying out a screwing test, a sealing test and a trial filling to verify the suitability of the combination for your specific formulation.

The cap can, under normal use, be repeatedly fitted and unscrewed, but for professional products it is usually recommended, for hygiene and regulatory reasons, to use a new closure for each final package. If you want to reuse it for example for internal formulation testing, it is important to follow strict hygiene rules – before each new filling, thoroughly clean and disinfect the cap and the corresponding packaging. For surface disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, and you must follow the safety instructions given for these raw materials.

When cleaning the cap, it is recommended to use mild soapy or detergent solutions and lukewarm water. Afterwards it is necessary to rinse the cap thoroughly and let it dry completely, preferably at room temperature. Avoid aggressive solvents that are not verified in the product parameters, and long-term exposure to high temperatures, so that the dimensional stability of the closure or the internal reducer is not affected. If you use the cap in contact with sensitive formulations, after cleaning we recommend disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation and allowing the remaining alcohol to evaporate completely.

If you do not want to continue using the cap, its recycling is recommended according to the type of plastic stated in the parameter table for the product. First it is advisable to remove product residues – by mechanically wiping or briefly rinsing, so that larger amounts of residues do not remain in the sorted waste. Then sort the cap into the container designated for the respective type of plastic according to local waste management rules. If the packaging is part of a larger packaging system (bottle + cap), it is advisable to separate the individual components and recycle them separately according to their material composition.
