Product description
Plastic pump, white, 28/410
Plastic pump is a dispensing closure for bottles with a standard 28/410 neck that delivers a measured dose of product with each press, approximately 1 ml. It is ideal wherever you want to dispense a liquid to medium-viscosity preparation cleanly, in a controlled manner and with one hand — without unscrewing a cap and without spilling.
The mechanical dispenser draws product from the bottle through a dip tube, so it works reliably even as the fill level drops. Compared to flip-top and snap-on caps, it is more practical for products that are used repeatedly and in smaller amounts.
Key benefits
- Measured dose – one press releases approximately 1 ml, making consistent dispensing easier and reducing waste.
- Clean and hygienic use – product is dispensed without fingers contacting the contents of the bottle, which is especially appreciated with creams and lotions.
- Standard 28/410 neck – a widely used thread type common on cosmetic bottles, so pairing is straightforward.
- One-handed dispensing – suitable for shower and wash products where the other hand is not free.
Suitable for products such as
The pump is suitable for body and facial lotions, creams with a fluid to medium-thick consistency, liquid soaps, shampoos, shower gels, conditioners and other liquid preparations. With very thick products or products containing coarser particles (such as thick masks or scrubs), it is advisable to test dispensing first — an overly thick or grainy mass may slow it down or cause clogging.
The dispenser pairs with bottles that have the same 28/410 neck type — you will find this in the product parameters. Ready-matched bottle and pump combinations are available from Handymade; when creating your own combination, we recommend verifying the seal, the dip tube length relative to the bottle height, and dispensing with your specific formulation.
Good to know
Before the first fill, it is worth washing and sanitising both the dispenser and the bottle (for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol) and allowing them to dry thoroughly.
On first use, press the pump several times without product until the tube and body fill and the dose stabilises.
This is a plastic packaging component; based on technical documentation it is suitable for contact with cosmetic products and meets the applicable regulatory requirements. The test report and declaration of conformity are provided with the product.
For products with a higher proportion of essential oils, fragrance compositions or solvents, verify long-term compatibility with the plastic — concentrated oily and alcoholic components may over time affect certain plastic parts and the dispenser seal.
The dip tube is typically longer and for shorter bottles you can trim it to the required length so it reaches the bottom. Once the contents are used up, dispose of the plastic components through sorted plastic waste collection.
