Product description

Spectrastat™ G2 Natural MB is a botanical combination of multifunctional ingredients that enables the creation of self-preserving natural recipes. It is effective in skin and hair products, cleansers, lotions, wipes and decorative cosmetics.

It has broad spectrum action against bacteria (gram +/-), yeast and mold.

As the only natural preservative so far, it is effective at pH 4 - 8 at a dosage of 1.5 - 2%. It has no effect on the colour and odour of the resulting products.

It is soluble in oil. It is added at the cooling stage.

It is not compatible with iron-containing ingredients, which is most clays. It is one of the few preservatives compatible with Emulsense HC.

Spectrastat G2 Natural MB Preservative is free of parabens, formaldehyde, MIT, phenoxyethanol and other traditional preservatives.
It contains 100% natural-based ingredients and is certified by the USDA BioPreferred® program.

All ingredients supplied are cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.
