Product description
The HDPE plastic bottle with a black foaming dispenser, 500 ml, is a complete ready-to-use set for foaming cleaning and cosmetic preparations dispensed as thick foam without propellant gas. It is suitable for foaming hand soaps, household cleaning foams, pet shampoos, upholstery cleaning foams and automotive cosmetics. The set is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products.
The foamer works mechanically: when the lever is pressed, the liquid mixes with air and passes through the mesh as fine foam. No aerosol or compressed gas is needed — the foam is produced solely from a suitably diluted surfactant formulation.
Why choose this set
- Foam instead of spray – the foamer distributes the product evenly across the surface, the foam stays in place and does not drip. This is useful for cleaning vertical surfaces, upholstery or when washing hands.
- Economical dispensing – each press of the lever dispenses approximately 1.3 ml of product, so nothing spills or splashes around.
- 500 ml volume – sufficient for a standard household pack of cleaning foam or foaming soap, and the bottle remains comfortable to use with one hand.
- Durable plastic combination – the white HDPE bottle is lightweight, can withstand drops and the damp environment of a bathroom or workshop. The PP dispenser is effortless to operate thanks to its lever, even with frequent use.
- Black-and-white contrast – the white bottle with a black dispenser looks clean and leaves room for a label that carries the brand's colour identity.
Which preparations is the set suitable for
The foamer works correctly only with low-viscosity surfactant formulations. Typical uses:
- foaming hand and body soap prepared from a dilute surfactant solution,
- cleaning foam for kitchen surfaces, bathroom or glass,
- foam for cleaning upholstery, carpets and car interiors,
- shampoos and cleaning foams for animals,
- foam for cleaning footwear, sports equipment or bicycles.
Thick gels, creams, oils or emulsions cannot be processed by the foamer: it will either fail to draw them up or produce only a thin stream instead of foam. It is also not suitable for clear aqueous solutions without surfactants, as foam cannot form without surface-active substances.
Use and filling
Before first filling, wash and disinfect both the bottle and dispenser with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leave to dry completely. Prepare the product in a separate container, filter if necessary, and only then pour it into the bottle to prevent undissolved particles from entering the foamer mesh.
Fill the bottle to the nominal volume, not to the brim. The nominal volume is the quantity the container is designed for in normal filling. The total volume to the neck is greater, and the difference provides a reserve for the dip tube, liquid movement when pressing, and expansion of the contents with temperature changes.
The dispenser dip tube should reach the bottom of the bottle. If it is too long and bends, trim it with a straight scissors cut so it does not kink and suction is uninterrupted. After screwing on the dispenser, tighten by hand — not by force — the 28/410 thread seals without excessive torque. On first use, press the lever several times until the system primes and produces consistent foam.
Good to know
HDPE is a chemically fairly resistant material. It tolerates common surfactant formulations, solutions with low alcohol content and mildly acidic or alkaline cleaning preparations. For formulations with a high proportion of essential oils, fragrance compositions or solvents, we recommend testing the container's behaviour on a sample — these substances may over time soften the plastic or leave a scent in it. The same caution applies to the mesh and internal parts of the foamer.
When changing the formulation or using a higher surfactant concentration, first test the foam quality on a small amount. Too concentrated a solution produces wet foam that collapses quickly; too dilute a solution produces no foam at all. The ratio is adjusted with water, not by replacing the dispenser.
The set is designed for repeated use. Rinse it with clean water between fills and leave to dry — residues of dried product in the mesh block the passage and impair foam formation. When refilling, check that no thickened product remains in the tube.
The cylindrical part of the bottle provides a flat surface for a label. For foaming and wet products, choose a label resistant to water and surfactants, otherwise it may peel off after a few uses.
Closures with the same 28/410 neck and other ready-made combinations are available in the Handymade range. For a custom combination, we recommend verifying the seal, dispensing performance and container behaviour with the specific formulation.
The bottle is made of HDPE, the dispenser of PP. Before disposing in sorted waste, unscrew the dispenser from the bottle and separate them.
