The dropper seals a bottle with an 18/410 neck and precisely dispenses the contents drop by drop. It is suitable wherever only a few drops are applied – for facial serums, oil blends, tinctures, concentrates with active ingredients, and hair or nail oils. The black-gold finish gives the bottle a darker, more understated look and pairs well with amber, black, or frosted glass.

The dropper consists of a glass tube, a soft silicone bulb, an aluminium collar, and an internal plastic thread. Glass and silicone are compatible with oils and common cosmetic raw materials. The packaging is intended for use with cosmetic products; the declaration of conformity is available with the product.

What the dropper is suitable for

• Precise dispensing – the silicone bulb draws up a small amount and releases it drop by drop, which is convenient for serums and concentrates.
• More hygienic use – the contents are not scooped out with fingers from the bottle neck but applied directly from the dropper, so fewer contaminants enter the product.
• Oil and alcohol-based contents – glass and silicone are suitable for oils, oil extracts, and tinctures, with which plastic dispensers may soften over time.
• Cohesive appearance – the black-gold collar looks uniform on dark glass and complements black or gold labels.

Use and bottle selection

The dropper screws onto a bottle with an 18/410 neck. However, the length of the glass tube also matters: it should reach almost to the bottom of the bottle so that the remaining contents can be drawn up, but it must not be longer than the internal height of the bottle, otherwise it would rest against the bottom when tightened. The tube length is listed in the product specifications; we recommend comparing it with the height of your chosen bottle. The dropper works best with liquid and slightly viscous contents – oils, serums, tinctures, concentrates. Thick gels and creams are drawn up through the tube slowly and unevenly; a pump or jar is more suitable for those. With very thin, watery contents the drops flow more quickly and exact quantities are harder to measure.

Good to know

• Before first filling – disassemble the dropper into the collar and glass tube, wash with warm water, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow to dry completely. Moisture in the tube could dilute an anhydrous product or promote microbial growth.
• Do not leave contents in the bulb – after drawing up the product, always squeeze it back into the bottle. The silicone bulb is not designed for prolonged contact with contents, and residues inside are harder to clean.
• Transport and carrying – the dropper seals under normal use. For shipping or travel, test the behaviour of your specific bottle + dropper combination with the given contents, or seal the bottle with a full cap for transport.
• Glass fragility – the glass tube may break if dropped. Handle it carefully when cleaning and do not over-tighten the collar.
• Reuse – after thorough cleaning and disinfection the dropper can be used again. If the silicone bulb loses elasticity or changes colour, replace it.
• Recycling – the dropper is made of several materials (glass, aluminium, plastic, silicone), so where possible disassemble it into individual components before disposal.
