What the set is suitable for

The 150 ml volume corresponds to a standard pack of tablets, capsules or a smaller quantity of a loose blend. Nominal and total volume

With jars, you will encounter two volume values. Nominal volume is the volume the container is intended for under normal filling conditions, and it is this figure by which the set is labelled. Total brim-full volume is the physical volume up to the neck and is somewhat larger. The difference between them is the headspace that remains free for the cap's sealing insert and prevents the contents from spilling into the thread when closing. Fill the jar to the nominal volume, not to the brim – tablets and loose blends will stay below the thread level and the cap will seal correctly.

What is worth knowing

Before first filling, wash and disinfect both the jar and the cap with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol and leave to dry completely. Residual moisture is the most common cause of caking or softening of tablets in loose and solid products.

Light and transparent labels with white or silver print stand out well on the black surface.

When recycling, separate the jar (PET) from the cap (polypropylene) – these are two different plastics.
