Yes, the jar can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After thorough drying, the jar is ready for further safe use.

How should the glass jar be properly cleaned before first use?

Before first use, we recommend washing the jar and lid in warm water with a mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly, allowing them to dry and then disinfecting with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. After applying the disinfectant, it is important to let all parts dry completely so that your cosmetic formulation is not diluted or affected.

For which types of cosmetic products is this jar most suitable?

The jar is ideal for packaging thicker cosmetic preparations such as face and body creams, butters, lip balms, ointments, scrubs and local treatment products. Thanks to the wide opening, handling during filling and use is comfortable and allows precise dosing even for denser blends.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to use the jar repeatedly, we recommend recycling it responsibly. The glass part can generally be placed in a container intended for separated glass collection, while the plastic or metal lid belongs in the appropriate container according to the material specified in the product parameters. Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the packaging and remove any cosmetic residues to make sorting and further material processing easier.

What should I pay attention to when filling and storing products in glass jars?

When filling, it is important to work in the cleanest environment possible, use disinfected tools and fill the jars appropriately up to the rim to minimise unnecessary contact of the product with air. After filling, it is advisable to close the packaging immediately and store it in a dry, cooler and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. This will support longer stability and quality of the cosmetic product.
