Alcohol‑based preparations are suitable for disinfection, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant‑based. Only after the inner surfaces have completely dried is the packaging ready for refilling, and it is always necessary to verify the compatibility of the cleaning agents as well as of the formulation itself with the packaging material used.

For which type of products is the dispensing pump most suitable?

The dispensing pump is ideal for liquid and medium‑viscosity cosmetic preparations such as facial and body milks, lighter gels, fluid emulsions or serums. For very thick balms and butters, dosing may be limited, so it is always advisable to carry out a filling and pumping trial with the specific formula and, if necessary, adjust the viscosity or choose another type of packaging.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned and disinfected before reuse?

First, it is necessary to mechanically remove residues of the original product from the packaging by rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent or warm water, while it is important to respect the temperature resistance of the plastic used. We then recommend treating the inner walls of the bottle and all parts of the dispensing pump with a disinfecting alcohol, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant‑based. After treatment, it is important to allow the alcohol to evaporate completely and only then refill the container, in order to ensure the best possible stability and cleanliness of the new contents.

How should the packaging be properly recycled if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the type of material indicated in the product parameters and the recycling symbol on the packaging. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove product residues and separate the individual components (bottle body, pump, any cap) if they are made of different materials.
