Clear plastic bottle, disc top cap, matte rose gold, 200 ml

A clear plastic bottle with a capacity of 200 ml and a disc top cap is designed for cosmetic products dispensed in small amounts directly into the palm: shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, cleansing gels and massage oils. Clear PET shows the colour and texture of the contents, and the lightweight material makes it suitable for use in the shower, bathroom and while travelling. The rose-gold matte cap with a white centre gives the bottle a neat appearance without any additional decoration.

The set consists of a bottle and a cap with the same neck type. Both parts are declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products.

How a disc top cap works

The disc top opens by pressing one side of the white centre, which causes the dispensing opening to flip out on the opposite side. Pressing it back closes the cap. To dispense, squeeze the bottle gently and the contents flow out in a thin stream — no unscrewing required.

• One-hand operation – the cap opens and closes with a thumb, which is practical with wet hands in the shower.
• Controlled dispensing – the small opening releases the contents gradually; the amount is regulated by how hard the bottle is squeezed.
• Clean neck – when closed, the opening is covered, so the contents do not dry out on the thread and the bottle stays clean on the outside.

Which products is the set suitable for

A disc top works best with liquid to medium-viscosity products that flow freely when the bottle is squeezed.

• Shower gels and shampoos – the typical viscosity of rinse-off products flows through the opening smoothly.
• Conditioners and body lotions – thinner emulsions are suitable; thick creams and butters are better suited to a jar.
• Cleansing gels and micellar waters – very thin liquids flow out faster, so the bottle should be squeezed more gently.
• Massage and body oils – oil flows easily, and the dispensing opening limits spills.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the quantity the bottle is designed for under normal filling conditions. Total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference serves as a reserve for the cap and for expansion of the contents when temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim.

Useful information

Preparation before first filling. Wash the bottle and cap, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. Residual water inside the packaging increases the microbiological load on the product.

Filling temperature. PET deforms under heat. Hot material poured directly into the bottle may cause it to warp or shrink.

Essential oils and solvents. PET tolerates typical cosmetic concentrations of fragrance and essential oils in a finished product. Undiluted essential oils and concentrated solvents should not be used with plastic — glass is the appropriate material for those.

Light. A clear container does not protect the contents from light. Products with light-sensitive ingredients — such as vegetable oils prone to oxidation or natural colorants — are better stored away from direct sunlight.

Labelling. Dimensions required for label design are listed in the parameters. Labels should be applied to a dry, degreased surface.

For custom combinations, we recommend verifying the seal, dispensing behaviour and compatibility of the packaging with the specific formulation.

Recycling. The bottle is made of PET and the cap combines aluminium and plastic, so both parts should be separated before sorting for recycling.
