Product properties
Key ingredients in the recipe
The formulation is based on plant oils and butters in the oil phase and a hydrolate with active substances in the water phase — you will find all the ingredients in our range of oils and Handymade.sk active substances.
The quantities are given in grams for a single batch, exactly as in the author's original recipe.
Apricot oil
Contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, E and B17 (which no other oils contain). It softens the skin, reduces the occurrence of pigment spots and prevents cellular mutation.
Carrot macerate in sunflower oil
It is an antioxidant and also a natural source of vitamin B12. It has soothing and anti-ageing effects.
Aloe vera butter
Hydrates and regenerates. Suitable for treating dry, irritated and sensitive skin.
Flower water — chamomile hydrolate
Soothes and refreshes. It has healing effects on inflamed and damaged skin.
D-Panthenol
It is provitamin B5. It soothes, has anti-inflammatory effects, optimises the physiological functions of the skin and is suitable in case of sunburn.
Other ingredients in the recipe
- Shea butter with lemongrass and lavender scent — contains vitamins A and E, makes the skin smoother, more elastic and healthier.
- Liquid sunflower lecithin — is a component of cell membranes, has hydrating effects and also serves as an emulsifier, stabiliser and preservative.
- Montanov 68 MB — emulsifier.
- Hydrolysed collagen powder — rejuvenates, hydrates and keeps the skin firm, elastic and supple. It is indispensable for the natural renewal of the skin.
- Cosgard — preservative.
- Essential oil broadleaf lavender — has a soothing effect and regenerating and antiseptic effects.

The formulation
The recipe is prepared in three steps: the oil phase, the water phase and the ingredients added to finish. Weigh the ingredients of each phase into separate containers exactly as given in the table.

Procedure
- Weighing out the phases
In separate containers, you weigh out the ingredients for the oil and water phases. (The oil phase must be in a heat-resistant glass container – it will be heated in a water bath.)
- Melting the oil phase, stirring the water phase
In a water bath, you heat all parts of the oil component until they melt and let them cool. You only stir the water phase (the ingredients mix well with each other).

To finish, do not forget to mix in the preservative and the essential oil.
To finish - Filling
Pour the final product preferably into a container with a pump.
