Sunflower Lecithin, Liquid, 50 g

Sunflower lecithin is a purely natural, plant-based product, a non-modified alternative to soy lecithin.

In cosmetics it is used mainly for its moisturizing effects. Lecithin is classified among the so-called phospholipids. These form the main part of all our cell membranes, i.e. the envelope of nerve, muscle and other cells of the human body. Its main active substance is the phospholipid phosphatidylcholine (choline).

In cosmetics it is used mainly as an emulsifier, stabilizer and preservative.

Sunflower lecithin is insoluble in water and soluble in oil. It is stable in the pH range 3 - 8.

Application: 3 - 5 %

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, unsuitable for internal use.
