Screw cap for bottles and small bottles with a 28/410 neck securely closes the contents without a dispensing element. It is suitable wherever the contents are poured or scooped rather than dispensed: for vegetable and massage oils, tonics, hydrolates, liquid soaps and shampoos, cleansing waters, dilution concentrates, or for bulk packaging of semi-finished products in production.

The cap is made of LDPE, a softer and more flexible plastic that seats well on the thread when tightened and does not crack with repeated opening. What the cap is suitable for

• Simple closure – no pump or sprayer; the contents are poured directly from the neck. Suitable for oils, tonics and products that customers measure out themselves.
• Bulk and production packaging – for bottles with semi-finished goods, concentrates or raw materials, where a secure seal matters more than the dispensing method.
• Transit closure – if you fill bottles with a 28/410 neck in advance and fit the pump or sprayer only at the point of use, the cap keeps them safely sealed until then.
• Tall black shape – gives the bottle a clean look, visually harmonises brown, clear and white bottles in a single row, and does not highlight any discolouration of the neck from oily products.

What is worth knowing when using it

Before first filling, it is advisable to wash and disinfect the cap with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow it to dry completely, especially with products without preservatives. Follow the same procedure for repeated use. LDPE withstands regular washing but is not intended for hot sterilisation or dishwashers; the soft plastic deforms under heat.

With concentrated essential oils, fragrance compositions and solvents, we recommend verifying the behaviour of the cap over time. Softer plastics may soften or absorb the scent with prolonged contact with such contents. For common vegetable oils, aqueous tonics and emulsions, the material is suitable.

With thicker products and oils, it is worth wiping the bottle neck dry after filling. Residue on the thread reduces the seal and over time causes sticky opening.

The cap is made from a single material and should be placed in sorted plastic waste after use.
