Product description
The blue-transparent plastic cap type 2 is a closure designed for the fabric softener bottle from the Handymade range. It is suitable for packaging home care products that are resealed after each use. The translucent blue colour helps to instantly distinguish individual products, for example different scents of the same fabric softener.
What the cap is suitable for
The cap is supplied individually as one piece. It can be used when assembling your own packaging or as a replacement for a lost or damaged closure.
- Fabric softeners and laundry detergents – laundry gels and other liquid to slightly viscous products that are poured from the bottle and the container is opened repeatedly.
- Household cleaning products – liquid cleaners at standard dilution.
- Refill use – the bottle with cap can be washed and refilled after emptying.
Choosing by bottle
The designation type 2 distinguishes this cap from other versions in the range. Before ordering, we recommend verifying that it matches your fabric softener bottle. Bottles with the same neck type and ready-made bottle + cap combinations are available in the Handymade range.
When combining with a different bottle of your own choice, we recommend checking the seal. Leave the filled and closed bottle on its side for several hours and check that the contents do not leak.
Good to know
Preparation before first use. Before filling, wash the cap, disinfect it and allow it to dry completely. Any water trapped in the cap would enter the product and unnecessarily burden its preservation.
Temperature. Plastic tolerates heat less well than glass. Always fill the finished product only after it has cooled down, otherwise the cap may deform and no longer seal.
Filling the bottle. The bottle is filled to the nominal volume, meaning the volume it is designed for under standard filling conditions. The total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between the two is a reserve for the closure and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes.
For products with a higher proportion of essential oils, fragrance compositions or solvents, carry out a test on a single piece. Check whether the cap changes to the touch, loses transparency or becomes loose.
Recycling. The cap is made of plastic and should be placed in sorted plastic waste when no longer in use.
