Caps and closures for cosmetic packaging

The bottle does half the work and the cap the other half — it decides whether the product is dosed by the drop, pumped or sprayed. This category holds 189 items: droppers, pipettes, pumps, dispensers, sprayers, disc tops, flip tops and classic screw caps. Pack sizes run from a sample up to wholesale quantities.

Four lines by thread

We divide the range into four lines by thread: Closures DIN18 (111 items, mostly droppers and pipettes), DIN20 (7 items), DIN24 (43 items, mainly sprayers and dispensers with the code 24/410) and DIN28 (24 items with designations from 28/400 to 28/415). Most products carry the thread designation in the name; droppers give the length instead (44 – 103 mm) and belong to the DIN18 line.

Which type of cap to choose

  • Dropper and pipette: precise dosing by the drop for serums and oil blends. Lengths run from 44 to 103 mm — you choose the length to suit the height of the bottle — and colours from white through black to gold and silver combinations, matt and glossy, several of them with a tamper-evident ring.
  • Pump and dispenser: for creams, gels and liquid soaps. Here you will find an 18 mm cream dispenser, 24/410 and 28/410 pumps and long dispensers in lengths from 180 to 220 mm, with and without a cover cap.
  • Sprayer: a fine spray for an 18/410 neck, classic 20/410 and 24/410 sprayers with a smooth, ribbed, silver or gold collar, and 28/410 trigger sprayers including a foaming version.
  • Disc top and flip top: closures for frequent opening — plastic and aluminium-plus-PP combinations, in white, black, clear, gold and silver.
  • Screw and specialist caps: smooth and ribbed lids, low and tall versions, aluminium caps, a 28/410 safety cap with a 2 – 15 ml measuring cup, a push-pull closure and a cap with a pouring insert.

How to get the thread right

The thread designation is what matters: the number in the cap's name (18/410, 24/410, 28/410…) has to match the designation on the bottle. So that you do not have to compare codes by hand, on every packaging product page the site shows the compatible caps — and on a cap, the containers with the same thread.

Bottles to go with the closures are in the glass bottles and plastic bottles categories. If you are unsure about a container-and-cap combination, write to us at [email protected].

Frequently asked questions

How do I find out which cap fits my bottle?

Compare the thread designations in the names: a cap coded 24/410 belongs on a bottle carrying the same 24/410 code. The designation is part of the name of every cap and every container, so the numbers simply have to match.

What do DIN18, DIN24 and DIN28 mean in the subcategory names?

DIN18 to DIN28 is our own sorting by neck diameter (18 – 28 mm). Compatibility is decided by the full code in the product name — 28/400 and 28/410 are two different threads, for instance. Choose by an exact match of the code, or from the compatible caps shown with the container.

How long a dropper should I choose?

Droppers and pipettes come in lengths from 44 to 103 mm and the exact figure is always in the product name. Choose the length to suit the height of the bottle, so the pipette reaches as close to the bottom as possible.
