The plastic pump dispenser 24/410 in a matte black-and-gold finish is a pump for bottles with a 24/410 neck that turns an ordinary bottle into a convenient dispensing container. A single press delivers a measured amount of product, so the customer does not need to open the bottle, tilt it, or estimate the dose. It is particularly suitable for liquid to medium-viscosity products: liquid soaps, shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, body lotions, light creams, facial cleansing gels, and massage or body oils.

The matte black colour combined with a gold element gives the bottle a cohesive look. It works equally well for bathroom cosmetics, gift lines, and salon ranges. How the dispenser works and what to expect from it

• Measured dose – one full press delivers approximately 1.3 ml of product (indicative value). For liquid soap or shampoo that is one typical portion; for body lotion or cream the dose is simply repeated as needed.
• Hygienic dispensing – the contents do not come into contact with hands or air the way they do with an open jar. A particular advantage for products with a lower preservative content or when shared in a household or professional setting.
• Shortable dip tube – the supplied dip tube is long and is cut to match the height of the bottle during assembly so that it reaches close to the bottom. A single dispenser therefore fits bottles of various heights with the same neck size.
• Mixed materials – the dispenser combines PP and PE plastics with an aluminium decorative element. The plastic parts handle standard water-based and oil-based formulations well.

Use with bottles and choice of contents

The dispenser fits all bottles with a 24/410 thread. Bottles with the same neck type as well as ready-made bottle-and-pump combinations are available in the Handymade range. When creating your own combination, we recommend verifying the seal and the dispenser's behaviour with the specific formulation before filling a larger batch.

The dispenser works best with contents of a viscosity ranging from liquid soap to body lotion. Very thick creams, solid butters, gels with a high proportion of thickener, or products containing particles (scrubs with sugar, salt, or granules) clog the pump. The dose becomes irregular or the mechanism blocks. Very thin contents (tonics, hydrolates, low-viscosity oils) can be handled by the dispenser, but in those cases it is worth considering a spray or dropper depending on how the product is used.

Good to know

• Shortening the dip tube – cut the tube cleanly at an angle with a sharp knife or scissors so that after screwing on the cap it ends approximately 2–3 mm above the bottom of the bottle. A tube that is too long will bend and draw poorly; one that is too short will leave unused product at the bottom.
• Preparation before filling – rinse the dispenser with clean water before first use, or disinfect it with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol and allow it to dry completely. Residual moisture could dilute the first doses of an anhydrous product.
• Reuse – the pump can be used multiple times. Between refills, pump warm water with a small amount of detergent through it and then flush with clean water until only water comes out of the head. When switching products (e.g. from an oil to a water-based gel), thorough rinsing is essential to prevent residues from mixing.
• Essential oils and solvents – PP and PE plastics are resistant to common cosmetic oils. However, higher concentrations of essential oils, alcohol, or fragrance compounds may over time affect the seal or the matte surface. With such contents, we recommend testing one unit over several weeks.
• Matte surface – the matte finish is durable under normal use, but aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive sponges may scratch it. Wipe with a soft cloth.
• Recycling – the dispenser combines plastic and metal components, which makes sorting more difficult than for a plain plastic bottle. Where local rules permit, separate it from the bottle and dispose of it according to the predominant material.
