Product description

Plastic bottle with flip-top cap represents a practical and versatile packaging for liquid and slightly viscous products, which facilitates dosing as well as everyday use. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, it sits well in the hand, is suitable for home and professional use and allows aesthetic, clean and safe packaging of cosmetic and other preparations.

The transparent plastic container provides immediate visual control of the contents, which is useful for monitoring the remaining amount of product as well as for presenting the colour or clarity of the formulation. The flip-top cap allows convenient one-handed opening, limits unwanted spillage and helps reduce contamination of the contents during normal handling.

The PET material is lightweight, strong and suitable for safe storage of a wide range of products. However, for long-term preservation of the properties of the contents, it is important to avoid exposure to high temperatures, as deformation of the packaging may occur in case of overheating. The bottle is not intended to be washed in a dishwasher or to be boiled.

Combining with caps and dispensers

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly, as long as the contents are always compatible with the PET material and basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and residues from previous formulations.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the PET bottle before refilling?

We recommend first rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent and then rinsing it several times with clean water so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. After thorough drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface with alcohol, for example with the product IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore do not boil the bottle and do not wash it in the dishwasher.

What limitations does PET material have when using this bottle?

PET is a lightweight and durable material, but it is not designed for contact with high temperatures. When exposed to heat, gradual deformation of the packaging or deterioration of its mechanical stability may occur. The bottle is therefore not suitable for boiling, sterilisation with hot steam or washing in the dishwasher. When filling, we recommend using only formulations within a temperature range that is safe for PET and also avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources.

How can I properly recycle this bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The bottle is made of PET material, which belongs in plastic waste collection – usually in the yellow bin, or according to the labelling in your region. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove any product residues, tighten the cap firmly or separate it according to local sorting requirements. By recycling, you help to reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
