Clear round plastic bottle, disc top cap, matte rose gold, 200 ml

The plastic bottle with disc top cap is a ready-made combination of container and closure for liquid and semi-liquid cosmetic products dispensed by squeezing the bottle. Clear PET is lightweight, suitable for the bathroom, shower and travel, and shows the colour and texture of the contents. The cap in a matte rose-gold finish with a white centre opens by pressing one side of the disc — no unscrewing required.

The 200 ml set is particularly suited to shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, liquid soaps and micellar or facial toners. Both the bottle and the cap are declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products.

How to use the set

The disc top cap releases the contents through a small opening in the disc. Pressing one side flips the disc open and the product is dispensed by squeezing the bottle. After use, press the disc back down to close the opening. One-handed operation is especially convenient for products used in the shower.

This dispensing method is suitable for liquid to medium-viscosity textures:

• Thin liquids – facial toners and tonics flow easily; the dose is controlled by squeeze pressure and the angle of the bottle.
• Gels and shampoos – medium-viscosity products dispense cleanly and in small amounts.
• Body lotions and conditioners – flow well as long as they remain fluid at the lower temperatures typical of a bathroom.

Thick creams, butters and balms are difficult to push through the small opening and the bottle empties poorly. For such textures a jar is a more practical choice.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed to hold under normal filling conditions. Total brim-full volume is the physical capacity up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference serves as a buffer for the closure and for expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. The headspace below the neck also makes it easier to shake the product before use.

Useful information

Preparation before filling. Clean, disinfect and thoroughly dry both the bottle and the cap before first use. Residual moisture inside the container reduces the microbiological stability of the product.

Filling temperature. PET must be protected from heat — hot contents can cause deformation. Allow products prepared hot to cool before filling.

Content composition. Do not expose the container to aggressive chemicals. With a high proportion of essential oils, alcohol or solvents, we recommend checking the container's behaviour with a test sample over several weeks.

Cap surface. The matte aluminium shell is sensitive to scratching and harsh cleaning agents. A soft cloth is sufficient for cleaning.

Labelling. The round bottle body provides a full wrap-around surface for a label. The dimensions required for label design are listed in the product parameters. Apply the label to a dry, degreased surface.

Alternative closure. Caps with the same neck type as stated in the parameters, as well as other ready-made combinations, are available in the Handymade range. For custom combinations, we recommend verifying the seal and dispensing performance with the specific formulation.

Recycling. The bottle is made from PET; the cap combines aluminium with plastic. Both parts should therefore be sorted separately.
