FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Is it possible to use this plastic bottle with pump repeatedly?
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling, however we recommend reusing it only for a similar type of product (for example always the same type of cosmetics). Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle and the pump. For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in our offer – for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. With this procedure you will support hygienic safety and minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the contents.
How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle with pump before the next filling?
First, we recommend mechanically rinsing the packaging with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the original product. Subsequently, it is appropriate to carry out disinfection – you can treat the inside of the bottle and parts of the pump with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfection, let the packaging dry sufficiently. With plastic packaging, it is not suitable to use water that is too hot or to expose it to extremely high temperatures so as not to damage or deform the material.
How to safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to continue using it?
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, to place it in sorted waste according to the material designation stated in the product parameters. Information about the type of plastic and the recommended method of recycling can be found in the parameter table for the given product in the e-shop. Before placing it in the appropriate container (usually plastic waste), it is advisable to remove residue of the contents and separate the individual parts (for example the pump from the body of the bottle) so that sorting and subsequent processing are as effective as possible.
Is this type of packaging suitable for different viscosities of liquids, or only for thin products?
The bottle with pump is designed to handle dosing of thin to medium-viscosity products typical for cosmetics and hygiene (body lotions, liquid soaps, shampoos and similar). For very thick creams or gels, dosing may be more difficult and it is advisable to first test a smaller amount of product. During production and filling, we recommend testing whether the selected formulation passes through the pump mechanism smoothly, without excessive resistance and air entrainment.
