Is it possible to use this plastic bottle with spray pump repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if you follow basic hygienic principles and thoroughly clean the bottle after each emptying. Before refilling, we recommend rinsing, cleaning and disinfecting the inside of the container and the spray pump with a suitable product, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. After applying the disinfectant solution, let the packaging dry thoroughly at room temperature. Since this is PET material, do not expose the packaging to high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher in order to prevent deformation.

For which types of preparations is the spray mechanism most suitable?

The spray pump is most suitable for low-viscosity liquids such as aqueous solutions, hydrolates, light oil blends in alcohol, air fresheners and cleaning sprays. Excessively thick emulsions, gels or oils with high viscosity may impair the functionality of the mechanism, therefore for new formulations we always recommend testing the dosing on a small sample and verifying the smooth operation of the spray pump.

How to take care of the PET bottle so that it retains its shape and clarity?

Protect the PET bottle from long-term exposure to high temperatures, direct sunlight and aggressive chemicals outside the recommended use. For normal cleaning, use lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent and then rinse the packaging thoroughly. Avoid washing in a dishwasher, drying with hot air and boiling, as these procedures may lead to deformation or clouding of the material.

How to correctly recycle this plastic bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend disposing of it in accordance with local rules for sorted waste. According to the material designation in the product parameters, this is plastic packaging, which is usually sorted into the container intended for plastics. Before discarding, empty the bottle and, if necessary, rinse out any product residues. If local rules allow, you can sort the bottle and spray head together as plastic waste. Always follow the pictogram and information given with the product and the guidelines of your municipality or city.

However, we recommend first testing the selected formulation on a smaller sample in order to verify the compatibility of the plastic material and the spray pump sealing with your specific mixture. In the case of long-term use, it is advisable to continuously check the functionality of the mechanism, the tightness of the joint and the condition of the plastic, especially at higher alcohol concentrations or specific additives.
