Shampoo bars are an increasingly popular alternative to conventional liquid shampoo (in Slovakia they have also become known as “šampúch”). Because a shampoo bar contains no water, it does not need any chemical preservatives either. You will not find silicones, parabens or artificial fragrances in it.
So what is actually in it?
The MusK shampoo bar is based on gentle surfactants made from coconut oil (so it is not a soap-based shampoo). They cleanse the hair and are also responsible for the wonderfully soft, rich lather they create. As well as being gently cleansed, your hair is also strengthened and nourished. This is the job of the floral and herbal waters, herbal extracts, butters, oils and active ingredients it contains. Carefully selected essential oils also provide care and aromatherapeutic benefits.
How do you use a shampoo bar?
Its shape fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. Simply rub it over wet hair a few times, massage it in with your fingers and rinse with clean water. After using it, there is no need to follow up with a vinegar or lemon rinse.
Thanks to its shape and size, it is a great companion for travelling. If you take it with you, you can put it in a portable aluminium box or wrap it some other way. Feel free to use it to cleanse your whole body too, and if needed, you can even use it to gently hand-wash clothes.
It is happiest on a soap dish next to your MusK soap, or on another firm, dry surface.
The shampoo bar is packed in a beautiful box made of recycled paper. How long it lasts depends on the length of your hair, how often you use it and how much you apply. Either way, shampoo bars are faithful companions – one can last you as long as 1–2 months.
The weight of the shampoo bar is 40 g ± 5%.
The shampoo bar is also suitable for vegans.
