Shampoo bars are an increasingly popular alternative to conventional liquid shampoo (in Slovakia, the name “šampúch” has also caught on). Because it contains no water, it does not need any chemical preservatives. You will not find silicones, parabens or artificial fragrances in it either.
So what does it actually contain?
The MusK shampoo bar is based on gentle surfactants made from coconut oil (so it is not a soap-based shampoo). Their job is to cleanse the hair, and it is thanks to them that the bar creates such a wonderfully soft, rich lather. As well as being gently cleansed, the hair is strengthened and nourished. This is the work of the floral and herbal waters, herbal extracts, cosmetic butters, oils and active ingredients it contains. The carefully selected essential oils also have a conditioning and aromatherapeutic role.
How do you use a shampoo bar?
Its shape fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. Simply rub it over wet hair a few times, massage it in with your fingers and rinse with clean water. After using it, there is no need for an additional vinegar or lemon water rinse.
Thanks to its shape and size, it is a great companion for travelling. If you take it with you, you can put it in a portable aluminium tin or wrap it some other way. Feel free to use it to cleanse your whole body as well, and if needed, it is also gentle enough for light hand washing.
It feels right at home on a soap dish next to your MusK soap, or on any other firm, dry surface.
The shampoo bar is packed in a beautiful box made of recycled paper. How long it lasts depends on the length of your hair, how often you use it and how much you apply. Shampoo bars are, however, loyal companions – this one will last you 2–3 months.
The weight of the shampoo bar is 80 g ± 5%.
The shampoo bar is also suitable for vegans.
