During testing, observe whether the container does not overheat excessively, whether the flame is stable and whether the wax melts evenly to the edges without excessive smoking or extinguishing.

For optimal burning, it is necessary to match the type and size of the wooden wick with the diameter of the container and the properties of the wax used. It is recommended to create test samples in which you monitor the flame height, formation of carbon build-up on the wick, evenness of wax melting and the temperature of the container walls. If the flame is too high or smokes, choose a smaller wick; in case of insufficient wax melting, try a larger wick or adjust the wax composition.

The container in which you use the wooden wick can, subject to compliance with hygiene and safety principles, be repeatedly used for pouring additional candles. By recycling, you conserve resources and reduce the amount of waste from candle production.
