How can I properly clean this glass bottle before reusing it?

The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle and the dropper, mechanically cleaning off residues of the previous product and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based product. For this purpose, you can use technical isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or plant-derived ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then refill them.

Is this bottle also suitable for thicker or oil-based products?

The glass bottle with dropper is ideal for various liquid and oil-based formulations where you need drop-by-drop dosing. For very thick products, the flow through the dropper may be slower, so we recommend always testing the consistency of your formula in a small trial batch and, if necessary, adjusting the viscosity or choosing another type of closure or applicator available in the packaging category range.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. In most cases, the glass part of the bottle can be handed in for glass collection after being cleaned of product residues. The plastic components of the dropper (for example the plastic part of the closure or the pipette) are sorted according to the specific material, or placed in mixed waste if they cannot be clearly classified. Can this bottle also be used for testing new formulas and samples?
