FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this glass bottle suitable for oily and active cosmetic blends?

The glass bottle is very suitable for packaging oil serums, concentrated active blends and aromatherapeutic oils, because glass is a stable and inert material. For formulations with a higher content of volatile substances, we recommend checking the sealing of the selected closure and performing a trial filling in a smaller quantity to verify the long-term behaviour of the packaging with the specific product.

Can I use the glass bottle repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the bottle ready for a new filling.

How should I properly clean the glass bottle after oily or perfume products?

First, mechanically remove residues of oils or perfume components by wiping or rinsing with warm water and a dishwashing detergent. Repeat the process as needed until greasy traces and fragrance disappear. We then recommend disinfecting the bottle with alcohol, for example using products based on isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and letting it dry completely. This procedure reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of fragrance transfer to the new product.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the glass bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting regulations and the information provided in the product parameters for this packaging. Before placing it in sorted waste, remove as much product residue as possible, separate the cap from the glass part and sort the individual materials into the appropriate containers according to the material type indicated for the product. In this way you support the reuse of raw materials and reduce the environmental burden.
