Flat medical glass bottle with screw neck represents a practical and aesthetic solution for packaging various liquid preparations where precise and convenient application using a mechanical sprayer is required. In combination with a high-quality plastic spray mechanism, it creates a functional packaging suitable for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and technical formulations that require fine spraying on the skin, hair or surface of materials. Thanks to the stable glass and reliable spray system, the packaging is suitable for repeated, even dosing without the contents coming into contact with air with each use.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the combination of a glass bottle and plastic sprayer is suitable for various liquid cosmetic products, such as facial and body lotions, toners, refreshing sprays or hair tonics. However, for formulations with a higher proportion of alcohol or essential oils, we recommend first testing compatibility with the packaging to verify the correct function of spraying and the long-term stability of the product.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or denatured ethanol Ethanol 96 % vegetable. When changing the type of product (for example from a cosmetic to a technical solution), we recommend paying special attention to thorough rinsing and disinfection to prevent unwanted mixing of residues from the previous filling.
It is recommended to prepare a smaller test quantity of the product and fill one bottle with it, which you leave to stand for a certain time in conditions similar to normal use. Monitor the behaviour of the sprayer (smoothness of dosing, shape of the spray), possible changes in fragrance or consistency, as well as the condition of the sealing and thread. For formulations containing essential oils, a higher proportion of alcohol or other reactive substances, it is advisable to carry out testing over a longer period and continuously check whether there are any changes to the plastic parts of the sprayer.
The glass part can first be rinsed with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsed well and left to dry. It is then appropriate to apply disinfection using alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. We recommend cleaning the plastic sprayer carefully – briefly rinsing it with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and finally spraying through with disinfectant alcohol. After complete drying of all parts, the bottle is ready for new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with local waste sorting regulations and the recommendations given for the product in the parameter table. The glass bottle can usually be placed in a glass container after removing any remaining contents. The plastic sprayer belongs among plastic components – before disposal it is advisable to separate it from the bottle. When recycling, follow the pictograms and information in the product parameters so that sorting is as accurate as possible and the packaging can be properly recovered as material.
To make it easier to select packaging, you can use the extended filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category, a filter will appear at the top of the page, which allows you to sort packaging according to several parameters – for example according to neck type, size, colour or material. This allows you to quickly display only those bottles, medicine bottles, jars or dispensers that meet the requirements of your specific formulation and method of application.
