Product description

Blue plastic bottle with black pump dispenser, 200 ml

A ready-made packaging and closure set: a blue bottle made of lightweight and shatterproof PET with a nominal volume of 200 ml and a black pump dispenser that fits the bottle directly. Suitable wherever a liquid or semi-liquid product needs to be dispensed one-handed and without opening – body lotions, liquid soaps, shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, facial cleansing gels or massage and body oils.

Both the bottle and the dispenser are declared suitable for contact with cosmetics, and the complete set is also approved for direct food contact, so it can also be used for homemade table oils, dressings or syrups.

Why choose this set

  • Dispensing without contact with the contents – the product is dispensed by pressing, without reaching into the bottle with fingers or unscrewing the cap, which reduces the risk of introducing contaminants into emulsions and gels.
  • Measured dosage – one press always dispenses approximately the same amount (approximately 1 ml), making it easier to estimate consumption with lotions, gels or liquid soaps.
  • Lightweight and durable packaging – PET does not break when dropped, suitable for the bathroom, washbasin and travel, and at the same volume is significantly lighter than glass.
  • Ready-made combination – the bottle and dispenser share the same neck type, so there is no need to select and test the closure separately.
  • Single colour, clean look – the blue bottle with black dispenser has a uniform appearance and a white or light-coloured label stands out well on it.

Suitable for products such as

The dispenser works best with low to medium viscosity contents. Suitable are body lotions and lighter O/W creams that still flow, liquid soaps and cleansing gels, shampoos and conditioners with a more fluid consistency, facial cleansing gels and foams, body, massage and shower oils, as well as hydrophilic cleansing oils.

Less suitable are thick creams, butters and balms – the dispenser will not draw them up or will dispense them irregularly. For products with exfoliating particles, plant pieces or a high proportion of essential oils, we recommend choosing a different type of packaging, or first testing the behaviour with a small quantity.

Filling and working with the dispenser

The bottle is filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. The nominal volume is the quantity for which the packaging is designed for normal filling. The total volume to the neck is greater, and the difference provides a reserve for the submerged dispenser tube and for the expansion of the contents with temperature change. If overfilled, some of the contents will be forced out through the thread when the dispenser is screwed on.

The dispenser tube is supplied longer than the height of the bottle. Before first use, cut it at an angle so that the end touches the bottom – the dispenser will then empty the contents completely and the tube will not bend when screwing on.

After filling, screw the dispenser on firmly and press it several times until the system fills with product and begins dispensing. Before first filling, we recommend rinsing both the bottle and the dispenser, disinfecting with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allowing to dry completely. This matters especially for emulsions and water-based products, where a low microbial load is important.

What is worth knowing

PET does not tolerate hot filling. Allow emulsions and gels to cool to room temperature before filling, otherwise the bottle wall may deform. Do not expose the packaging to aggressive chemicals – for concentrates and solvents, opt for glass instead.

The set is suitable for both water-based and oil-based contents. The dispenser is not designed for spraying and is not airtight. The contents come into contact with air in the tube and head after each press, so products without preservation are not suitable for this type of closure. For other closures with the same neck type (stated in the parameters), we always recommend verifying the seal and dosing with your own formulation.

The packaging can be reused after thorough washing. The bottle is made of PET and the dispenser of PP; separate them before recycling and sort as plastics.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 200 ml plastic bottle with dispenser suitable for food?
Yes, the complete set of bottle and dispenser is approved for direct food contact. It can be used for table oils, dressings, syrups or herbal extracts. It is also declared suitable for cosmetic products, making it suitable for lotions, gels and liquid soaps. The declaration of conformity is provided with the product.
What products can be dispensed from the bottle with a pump?
The dispenser handles liquid to medium-thick products – body lotions, liquid soaps, shampoos, gels, oils. It will not draw up thick creams, butters or balms, or will dispense them irregularly. If you are unsure about the consistency, fill a small amount first and check whether the dispenser dispenses smoothly and without air gaps.
Why should the bottle with dispenser not be filled to the brim?
Because the dispenser takes up part of the space in the neck when screwed on, and the contents expand slightly with temperature change. The nominal volume is the quantity for which the bottle is designed; the difference compared to the volume to the neck is a reserve for the tube and dispenser head. If overfilled, some of the product will be forced out through the thread and the closure may leak.
Can a PET bottle with dispenser be filled with oil containing essential oils?
Yes, at the typical concentrations used in massage and body oils. At higher proportions of essential oils, especially citrus ones containing limonene, or with solvents, PET may soften or become cloudy over time. For pure essential oils and concentrates, glass is more suitable. We recommend always testing the packaging behaviour with the specific formulation.
How is the bottle with dispenser cleaned before reuse?
Wash the bottle with warm water and detergent, rinse and disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. Pump clean water through the dispenser until it runs clear, then pump through alcohol and allow to dry. Do not use hot water or a dishwasher – both the PET bottle and the dispenser tube could deform.
