Blue Plastic Bottle, Black Spray with Glossy Silver Collar, 200 ml

A blue plastic bottle with a volume of 200 ml and a black mini trigger sprayer with a glossy silver collar is a ready-made set for liquid products applied by spraying: toners, hydrosols, hair and body sprays, and alcohol-based solutions. The bottle is made of PET, so it is lightweight and unbreakable, which suits the bathroom, a handbag and travel. The sprayer fits a 24/410 neck and disperses the contents as a fine mist, so the set is chosen mainly for thin, water-based formulations.

The set as a whole is declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products. Only the bottle on its own has a certificate for direct food contact; the set with the sprayer is intended for cosmetics.

What it is suitable for

• Facial toners and hydrosols – thin water-based products are dispersed evenly from the sprayer and applied without your hands touching the skin.
• Hair sprays and leave-in conditioners – water-based or mildly alcohol-based solutions applied to the lengths of the hair.
• Body and refreshing sprays – light formulations for summer, after sport or after sun exposure.
• Alcohol-based solutions and room fragrances – the sprayer also handles contents with a share of ethanol. For high concentrations, we recommend checking how the plastic behaves with your specific formulation.
• Finished cosmetics for sale – a volume of 200 ml corresponds to the common pack size of a toner or spray.

How the set works

The bottle has a 24/410 neck finish onto which the sprayer fits firmly. The mini trigger sprayer draws the contents up through a dip tube from the bottom and with every press releases a small dose, approximately 0.12 ml, dispersed into a fine mist. The glossy silver aluminium collar complements the black cap.

A mist is produced only with contents whose viscosity is close to that of water. Thicker products, emulsions or oils either do not get out of this type of sprayer at all or come out as a jet instead of a mist. If in doubt, fill a small amount and test the spraying before you fill the whole batch.

Nominal volume and filling

The nominal volume of 200 ml is the amount the bottle is designed for in normal filling. The actual volume up to the brim of the neck is larger, and the difference forms a reserve for the dip tube and the sprayer mechanism. For this reason, fill up to the nominal volume, not to the rim. An overfilled bottle may leak through the thread once the sprayer is fitted.

Good to know

• Preparation before filling – we recommend rinsing the packaging, disinfecting it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leaving it to dry completely. Rinse the sprayer, including the dip tube, with clean water and leave it to drain.
• Reuse – once empty, the bottle and the sprayer can be washed and used again. When changing the contents, rinse the sprayer thoroughly, as residues of the previous product may clog the nozzle.
• Material sensitivity – do not expose PET to aggressive chemicals. For formulations with a higher share of essential oils or strong solvents, we recommend testing compatibility on one piece and checking the bottle wall and tightness after a few weeks.
• Other closures – other closures and sprayers with the same thread type from the Handymade range also fit a 24/410 neck; you can find ready-made combinations in the e-shop.
• Recycling – the bottle is made of PET and belongs with plastics. The sprayer combines PP and aluminium; separate it from the bottle before disposal.
