Clear Plastic Bottle, Black Spray, Matte Silver Collar, Smoky Overcap, 100 ml

A set of a clear PET bottle, 100 ml, and a mini trigger sprayer in black with a matte silver collar is used for filling and dispensing low-viscosity liquid cosmetic products. The bottle and the sprayer have the same neck type, so they fit together without you having to look for another closure, and the set is ready to use right after washing and filling.

Clear PET shows the contents and how much of them is left in the bottle. The material is lightweight and does not break, which suits packaging that the customer carries in a handbag or takes on trips. The packaging is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetics, and the declaration of conformity is available with the product. The set is not declared for contact with food and is intended for cosmetic products.

What it is suitable for

The sprayer disperses the liquid into a mist, so the set is used for products that are applied to the skin or hair as a spray:

• Facial toners and hydrosols – low-viscosity water-based products pass through the nozzle without problems and the mist is applied evenly.
• Refreshing face and body mists – the volume of 100 ml corresponds to a common pack size that is used up within a few weeks.
• Hair mists – light water-based or water-alcohol solutions for refreshing the hair and making it easier to comb.
• Samples and test batches – in a clear bottle you can see whether the contents turn cloudy or separate over time.

The matte silver collar on the black sprayer gives the packaging a uniform look.

Good to know

Nominal volume and brimful volume are two different values. The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed for in normal filling. The brimful volume is the physical volume of the bottle up to the neck, and you will find it in the parameters. The difference between them is a reserve for the dip tube of the sprayer and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. When filling, follow the nominal volume.

Clear plastic does not protect the contents from light. This set is meant for products that are not affected by light, or for bottles stored in the dark. For hydrosols, extracts and products with light-sensitive ingredients, we recommend considering an amber or blue bottle from our range.

The mini trigger sprayer dispenses a small amount, with one press releasing approximately 0.12 ml. After filling, press it several times without product until the dip tube fills and the mist becomes even. Thick liquids, oils and products with a thickener clog the nozzle or come out of it as a stream. Before filling a larger batch, we recommend checking how the sprayer behaves with your specific formulation.

Before the first filling, wash and disinfect the bottle and the sprayer and let them dry completely. The bottle can be reused after washing; with the sprayer, it is worth checking whether the nozzle has been clogged by residues of the previous contents.
