Clear Plastic Bottle, Black Spray With Glossy Silver Collar, 100 ml

A clear 100 ml PET bottle and a black fine mist sprayer with a silver glossy collar make a ready-to-use packaging set for liquid products applied by spraying. The bottle and closure both have a 24/410 neck finish, so all you need to do is fill the bottle, screw on the sprayer and press it several times until the dip tube fills.

Clear plastic shows the colour and the amount of content, which you will appreciate with hydrosols, toners and coloured solutions, where you want to see the level and clarity of the liquid. The bottle is light, so it also suits a handbag, travel or the bathroom. The black head with a glossy collar gives the packaging a uniform look.

What the set is suitable for

• Facial toners and hydrosols – watery liquids are sprayed evenly, without running down the skin.
• Refreshing and setting face sprays – light solutions with water-soluble active ingredients, applied over finished make-up or during the day.
• Hair care sprays – infusions, solutions with glycerine, light conditioning sprays without an oil phase or with oil incorporated through a solubiliser.
• Alcohol-based and perfumed waters – the sprayer dispenses a small amount, and the fragrance disperses into a fine mist instead of a single drop.
• Textile and room sprays – water-alcohol solutions with a fragrance composition or hydrosol.

The sprayer is built for content that is as thin as water. Thick gels, emulsions or pure oils will not disperse into a mist and will quickly clog the nozzle. For oil serums or body oils, choose a bottle with a dropper or a pump.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume of 100 ml is the amount the bottle is intended for in normal filling. The brimful capacity listed in the parameters is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between them is a reserve for the sprayer dip tube, which pushes part of the content upwards when screwed on, and for the expansion of the liquid with temperature changes. Fill up to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If the bottle is overfilled, the content will overflow through the neck when the sprayer is fitted.

Good to know

Before the first filling, wash the bottle and the sprayer, rinse them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let them dry completely. Residual water in the tube would dilute the first doses and, with preserved products, reduce the effectiveness of the preservation.

Clear plastic does not protect against light. Store light-sensitive content, for example hydrosols or solutions with plant extracts and essential oils, away from direct sunlight, or choose a darker bottle.

PET withstands common water and water-alcohol solutions. Undiluted essential oils, concentrated fragrance compositions and solvents are aggressive chemicals, and the packaging should not be exposed to them. For perfumes and alcohol solutions with a higher proportion of fragrance ingredients, we recommend checking the tightness and appearance of the bottle after a few weeks.

The bottle and the sprayer can be reused after thorough washing and disinfection. When changing the content, especially from perfumed water to facial toner, bear in mind that the remainder of the previous fragrance in the tube will pass into the new filling.

The PET bottle belongs in plastic waste. The sprayer combines polypropylene with aluminium, so separate it from the bottle before disposal.
