Plastic bottle with spray dispenser is a practical packaging for gentle and even application of liquid preparations in the form of a mist or spray. Thanks to the transparent body you always have visual control over the contents, which makes dosing, tracking consumption and checking the clarity or stability of the product easier. The combination of a plastic container and a functional spray mechanism is suitable for a wide range of cosmetic and household formulations.
The packaging is designed for easy use also in professional practice – from preparing smaller products and test batches to finished products intended for clients. Thanks to its practical shape and modern appearance with a decorative element on the spray head, the bottle also looks aesthetic in finished gift sets or in salon care.
This packaging is supplied as a complete combination of bottle and spray dispenser, ready for immediate use after filling and closing. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular of sealing, dosing uniformity and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (alcohol content, acidity/alkalinity, oil content or active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected – we recommend using alcohol-based disinfectants, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (products in the disinfection category, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). After cleaning, let all parts dry thoroughly in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new contents.
First, it is advisable to disassemble the bottle and the spray mechanism into individual parts that can withstand contact with the cleaning agent. The container and the tube can be washed with a mild detergent and lukewarm water and then rinsed thoroughly. For final disinfection we recommend using an alcohol-based product (for example products available on Handymade in the disinfection category) and then letting everything dry thoroughly at room temperature. Packaging prepared in this way is more suitable for further filling, and adherence to hygiene principles helps to extend the shelf life and safety of the final product.
Before recycling it is important to remove any product residues and rinse the packaging as well as possible. The subsequent sorting method is based on the material stated in the product parameters on the Handymade website – the individual parts of the packaging (bottle body, spray dispenser, decorative elements) may be made of different plastics, so it is advisable to separate them where possible. Plastic parts are sorted into the relevant plastic container according to local recycling rules. If the material cannot be clearly classified, follow the recommendations of your recycling centre or local sorting system. In this way you minimise waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
The spray dispenser is most suitable for watery solutions and light liquids that do not clog the nozzle and allow the formation of a fine mist. It is ideal for facial and body waters, hydrolats, hair sprays, spray deodorants or aromatherapeutic blends with an appropriate oil content. For thicker or highly oily formulations it is always necessary to carry out a test – to verify the smoothness of spraying, possible settling of particles in the tube or nozzle, and the long-term behaviour of the packaging in contact with the given formula.
The simplest way to select a suitable bottle, vial or jar is to use the extended filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, spray dispensers, jars), you will find the filter at the top of the page. In it you can conveniently set parameters such as neck type and diameter, required size, colour or packaging material. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that is best suited to your specific formulation and the visual concept of your brand.
