Thanks to the transparent body, you have an immediate overview of the filled contents and their quantity, while the spray dispenser enables convenient and controlled dosing. This type of packaging is suitable for formulations that require hygienic, contactless application and good protection against external influences.
The packaging is made from high-quality plastic material of the PET type, which is lightweight, strong and resistant to normal handling. In combination with a functional spray mechanism, the bottle is ideal for everyday use in the home, in cosmetics and in small-scale artisanal production.
This bottle with spray dispenser is supplied as a functional combination of packaging and dosing mechanism, which is directly adapted to the given bottle. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that your specific product will remain long-term stable and safe to use.

Since this is plastic packaging made of PET material, it is not suitable to expose it to high temperatures. In the case of long-term or repeated exposure to heat, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and impairment of the functionality of the spray dispenser. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling; gentle manual cleaning at lower temperatures with subsequent disinfection according to the recommendations is advised.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the spray dispenser and then disinfecting them with a suitable product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new refill.
The bottle is particularly suitable for aqueous and water-alcohol solutions, hydrolats, toners, gentle facial and body sprays, hair tonics and interior sprays. For formulations with a higher alcohol content or with essential oils, it is important to verify compatibility with the PET material and with the spray dispenser itself by testing in a smaller quantity, in order to avoid changes in transparency, softening of the plastic or impairment of the functionality of the mechanism.
First we recommend rinsing the packaging with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing it thoroughly with clean water so that no residues of the previous product remain in the container or in the tube of the spray dispenser. The bottle and mechanism can then be disinfected with alcohol, for example using the product IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not boil the bottle or wash it in a dishwasher in order to avoid deformation.
If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, it is appropriate to place it in sorted collection according to the material designation given in the product parameters. Since it is PET plastic, after emptying and basic rinsing we recommend throwing it into the container designated for plastic waste. The spray dispenser is made up of several plastic parts, so it is practical to separate the bottle and the top part so that sorting is more efficient. By recycling you help reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
No, PET material is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures or for filling with hot solutions. When in contact with warm or hot preparations, the packaging may deform, sealing may deteriorate and the functionality of the spray dispenser may be limited. Always let the product cool completely to room temperature before filling and also avoid heat drying or washing in a dishwasher.
