Type B glass vial with white tamper-evident cap, 100 ml is a ready-made complete packaging set for liquid cosmetic preparations that do not require a pump or dropper. The glass does not react with the contents and does not alter its quality in oil-based, alcohol-based, or water-based formulations. The smooth white cap with an 18/410 thread seals the bottle tightly, and the tamper-evident ring shows whether the packaging has already been opened. The set is particularly suitable for facial oils, tonics, hydrolats, tinctures, massage oils, and stock solutions that are dispensed by pouring or transferred into smaller containers.

Filling and volume

The vial is designed to be filled to its nominal volume of 100 ml. The total capacity to the brim is greater, but this difference is a safety margin, not usable space. It accommodates the thread, the seating of the cap, and slight expansion of the contents with temperature changes. If the bottle is filled to the neck, the contents will be forced out during closing, contaminating the thread and preventing a proper seal.

With more viscous oils and serums, fill slowly along the wall of the bottle to avoid trapping air in the contents. A bubble under the cap is harmless, but it unnecessarily increases the contact of the contents with air and, for oxidation-sensitive oils, shortens the time before a change in scent becomes noticeable.

How to work with the set

Before filling for the first time, we recommend washing, rinsing, and disinfecting both the bottle and the cap with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol, then allowing them to dry completely. Residual water in the bottle could cause cloudiness in an oil-based formulation or promote microbial growth in a product without a preservative.

The cap is tightened by hand, not by force. The 18/410 thread seals by the cap seating on the neck, and overtightening will not improve the seal — it is more likely to damage the tamper band or the thread. The cap is made of polypropylene and polyethylene, materials that tolerate common cosmetic oils and alcoholic solutions well. For preparations with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, it is advisable to test the cap's behaviour on a single unit before a larger batch.

Glass is sensitive to sudden temperature changes. Do not pour a hot phase directly into a cold bottle — allow the preparation to cool to at least lukewarm temperature before filling.

Store filled bottles away from direct light, in a cupboard or cardboard box. This applies especially to oxidation-sensitive oils and preparations containing vitamins or essential oils. If you are labelling the bottle, a standard self-adhesive label is suitable for the smooth cylindrical body of the vial; dimensions can be found in the packaging parameters.

The set as a whole is intended for cosmetics. The glass bottle alone holds a food-contact declaration; the white cap does not carry this declaration. For home-use oils, syrups, or herbal extracts, we therefore do not recommend this set in its current configuration.

Both the glass bottle and the plastic cap can be recycled — simply separate them after use.
