How should the glass bottle be correctly prepared before first use?

Before first filling, we recommend thoroughly checking the packaging and cleaning it from any dust or residual manufacturing film. It is then advisable to rinse the bottle and cap and let them dry. For formulations with higher hygiene requirements, choose disinfection with a suitable alcohol-based preparation so that the packaging is ready for direct contact with your product.

Can this glass bottle be reused?

Yes, the glass bottle can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each refilling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after completely drying is the packaging ready to be filled again.

How to safely dispose of and recycle the glass bottle if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type stated in the parameter table for the product. After emptying and basic rinsing of product residues, place the glass part of the bottle into the container designated for glass. The plastic child-resistant cap usually needs to be sorted separately into the container for plastics.
