Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume of 100 ml is the quantity for which the bottle is intended under normal filling conditions. The total volume to the brim is slightly larger and provides a buffer for the dropper cap and for expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. Overfilling forces the contents into the thread when closing, causing the cap to lose its seal.

Practical use

The set is suitable for products dispensed drop by drop: facial and hair oil serums, essential oil blends, tinctures, dilution concentrates, and liquid active ingredients measured into formulations. With thicker oils, expect slower dispensing through the dropper.

Good to know

Before the first fill, wash the bottle with warm water and dish soap, rinse, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow it to dry completely with the neck facing down. The dropper cap only needs to be rinsed and dried. When reusing, check that the thread is undamaged and that the closure sits flush.

Glass is sensitive to sudden temperature changes. Do not pour hot fills into the bottle; allow them to cool to at least room temperature. Hot contents can also deform the plastic cap and compromise its seal.
