Product description
A 750 ml plastic bottle with a white screw cap and dropper insert is a ready-to-use complete packaging + closure for larger-volume liquid products that you want to dispense gradually. The transparent bottle lets you see the contents and how much remains; the dropper cap allows you to dispense drop by drop or in a thin stream without spilling. The set is approved for direct food contact and declared suitable for cosmetic products, making it equally useful in the workshop for oils, hydrolates and tonics, and in the kitchen for home oils, vinegars or syrups.
Key advantages of the set
- Ready-to-use combination – the bottle and closure are matched to the same neck type; no need to search for and test a compatible cap separately.
- Dropper dispensing – contents pour out in a thin stream or drop by drop, making it easier to measure out oil or tonic precisely and reducing spills when filling smaller bottles.
- Transparent wall – colour, clarity and fill level are all visible, which is useful for bulk storage and for checking whether the contents have turned cloudy or separated.
- Plastic instead of glass – the bottle is light and break-resistant, making it suitable for transport, bathroom use, and larger volumes where glass would be too heavy.
- Cosmetics and food – the packaging material of both the bottle and the cap is declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products and for direct food contact; the relevant declarations are included with the product.
How to fill and dispense from the set
The bottle is filled to the nominal volume, meaning the volume the packaging is designed for under normal filling conditions. The total capacity to the very brim is always greater, as it includes the space in the neck. This difference is not a flaw but a headspace allowance for the cap and dropper and for thermal expansion of the contents. If the bottle is filled all the way to the neck, contents will leak through the dropper when closing and the cap may not seat properly.
After filling, the cap is hand-tightened until it stops, without excessive force. When dispensing, point the dropper over the target container and tilt the bottle slightly. Thicker contents flow more slowly; thin oils and aqueous solutions flow smoothly. We recommend testing the exact dispensing rate with your specific formulation, as it depends on the viscosity of the contents.
Before first use, wash both the bottle and the cap, sanitise with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow to dry completely. Residual water in the packaging could compromise an anhydrous oil product or shorten the shelf life of an aqueous formulation.
Suitable for products such as
- Body and massage oils – a larger volume with controlled dispensing is practical both for massage and when decanting into smaller bottles for retail.
- Hydrolates and tonics – the dropper allows you to measure out the required amount into a formulation without pouring over the neck.
- Thin rinse-off products – shower oils, liquid bases and similar low-viscosity contents.
- Workshop ingredient storage – carrier oils, glycerin and aqueous solutions drawn off in portions.
- Home food use – oil, vinegar, syrup, herbal infusion or any other liquid content in the kitchen.
Good to know
The transparent bottle does not protect contents from light. Products sensitive to light and oxidation — for example oils with a high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, or formulations containing vitamins and plant extracts — should be stored away from direct sunlight or packed in a dark-coloured container. For short-term use, for bulk storage in a shaded workshop, and for food with a standard shelf life, transparency is an advantage, as contents can be checked without opening.
The packaging is declared suitable for cosmetic products — aqueous solutions, oils and standard emulsions alike. For concentrated essential oils, fragrance compositions and solvents, we recommend verifying compatibility by testing a single container. With prolonged contact, some components may alter the appearance of the plastic or take on its odour. Allow hot contents to cool before filling.
The set can be used repeatedly. Between fillings, wash both the bottle and cap with warm soapy water, sanitise and allow to dry. The dropper should be rinsed separately to remove any residue from the previous contents. Label dimensions for design purposes are listed in the product parameters. Used packaging goes into plastic recycling.
Closures matching the neck type listed in the parameters, along with other ready-made combinations, are available in the Handymade range. For custom combinations, we recommend verifying seal integrity, dispensing behaviour and packaging compatibility with your specific formulation.
