Plastic bottle, clear round, white screw cap with dropper, 1000 ml

A one-litre plastic bottle with a white cap and dropper insert is a storage container for thin cosmetic liquids dispensed in small amounts. The dropper in the neck slows the flow, allowing the contents to be dispensed drop by drop or in a fine stream without spilling all at once when tilted. The transparent wall lets you see the colour, clarity and remaining volume.

Suitable for water-based and oil-based preparations and for liquid raw materials measured out gradually during production. The lightweight plastic makes handling easier at 1000 ml — whether in the workshop, bathroom or during transport.

How the set works

The set consists of three parts sharing the same neck size:

• Bottle – rounded shape in transparent plastic for storing the contents.
• Dropper insert – a transparent insert in the neck that narrows the opening and controls how quickly the contents flow.
• Cap – a white screw cap that seals the bottle when tightened and protects the dropper from dust.

Dispensing is done by tilting the bottle. The thinner the contents, the more precisely they can be dripped. Oils and more viscous liquids flow more slowly, in a fine stream.

What it is suitable for

• Bulk storage of raw materials – hydrosols, vegetable oils or liquid extracts dispensed in small quantities into a formula.
• Water-based preparations – toners, facial and micellar waters applied with a cotton pad.
• Oil-based preparations – massage and body oils, where the dropper prevents pouring out too much at once.
• Refilling smaller containers – the fine stream makes it easier to pour into bottles with a narrow neck.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the amount the bottle is intended to hold under normal filling conditions. Total volume is the physical capacity up to the very rim of the neck and is slightly larger. The difference serves as a reserve for the dropper insert, which extends into the neck, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the rim — otherwise the contents would overflow once the dropper is inserted.

Good to know

Before first use, wash the bottle, dropper insert and cap, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. Residual water in the container increases the risk of microbial contamination, especially with water-based preparations.

The dropper insert should be placed only after filling: press it into the neck until it sits flush all the way around, then tighten the cap. Plastic tolerates heat less well than glass, so fill the contents only after they have cooled down.

The set is suitable for contact with cosmetic products. Food-contact certification applies to the bottle and cap individually; the dropper insert does not carry it. The set as a whole is therefore intended for cosmetic use only.

The cap and dropper insert are made of polypropylene (PP) and should be placed in sorted plastic waste after use.
