A plastic bottle with a volume of 250 ml made from recycled PET with a disc top cap is designed for cosmetic products dispensed by squeezing the bottle. It suits thin to medium-thick textures, from shower gels and shampoos to body lotions and massage oils.

The transparent wall reveals the colour and texture of the contents and lets you see how much product remains. The bottle is lightweight and shatter-resistant when dropped, making the set practical for the bathroom, the shower, and travel. The cap in a matte rose-gold finish gives the packaging a metallic look.

Why the set is practical

• One-handed dispensing – the disc top opens by pressing the edge of the top surface, the contents are dispensed by gently squeezing the bottle, and the cap closes with a reverse press.
• Recycled material – the bottle is made from recycled PET, reducing the share of virgin plastic in the finished product's packaging.

Which products it suits

The disc top has a small dispensing opening, so it works best with products that flow freely or with a gentle squeeze of the bottle. Suitable products include shower gels, shampoos, liquid soaps, conditioners, body lotions, facial and micellar waters, and body and massage oils.

Thick creams, butters, and balms are difficult to dispense through a small opening and leave a larger residue in the bottle. For such textures a jar or pot is more appropriate. Very thin liquids flow faster, so dispensing requires a more careful squeeze.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the quantity for which the bottle is designed under standard filling conditions. Total brim-full volume is the physical volume up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference serves as a reserve for the cap and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim; otherwise the contents may overflow when closing or when heated.

The set is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products. It is not intended for food or beverages.

Before first use it is recommended to wash both the bottle and the cap, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow them to dry completely. Residual moisture inside the packaging can affect the microbiological stability of the product and, in anhydrous oils, their clarity as well.

For products with a higher proportion of essential oils, alcohol, or solvents it is advisable to carry out a compatibility test: leave the filled bottle to stand for several weeks and check whether the wall shape, material clarity, or the scent of the contents changes. The transparent wall does not protect the contents from light. Finished products with a light-sensitive formulation should therefore be stored away from direct sunlight or filled into a dark-coloured container.

When empty, the bottle is sorted as plastic. The cap combines aluminium and PP, so it is advisable to unscrew it from the bottle before sorting.
