Yes, the bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is essential to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the contents. It is advisable to use disinfecting alcohols, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for technical and cosmetic use. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely at room temperature.

We recommend cleaning the bottle and the spray pump by hand with a mild soapy solution and lukewarm water, without using aggressive brushes or abrasive products. Afterwards, the individual parts must be thoroughly rinsed with clean water and, if necessary, disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for exposure to high temperatures or boiling, because at higher temperatures the plastic may deform and the sealing performance of the spray pump may deteriorate.

The bottle is designed primarily for cosmetic and auxiliary technical solutions intended for spraying. Compatibility always depends on the specific composition – in particular, for products with a high content of solvents, essential oils or very acidic or alkaline preparations, we recommend carrying out your own testing. Before final filling it is advisable to prepare a test sample and monitor the behaviour of the plastic and the functionality of the spray pump over time (sealing, dose consistency, any changes in the colour or odour of the packaging).

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend emptying it, rinsing it as thoroughly as possible to remove product residues and then sorting it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The plastic bottle is usually separated from the spray pump, because the individual parts may be made of different materials. The bottle made from the respective plastic should be placed in the container intended for separate collection of that material in accordance with local regulations. In case of doubt, follow the recycling symbol on the packaging and the recommendations of your waste collection company.
