Is it possible to use this plastic bottle with spray pump repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with a suitable type of filling, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and spray pump must be carefully cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination, residues of the previous product and prolongs the usability of the packaging.

How should I properly clean this PET bottle so that I do not damage it?

We do not recommend exposing PET material to high temperatures, therefore do not wash the bottle or spray pump in a dishwasher and do not boil them. Suitable is manual cleaning with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, possibly followed by rinsing with disinfecting alcohol. It is important to let the packaging dry thoroughly to avoid dilution of the new filling and any increased risk of microbial growth.

For which types of products is this spray packaging most suitable?

The bottle is ideal for aqueous or water-alcohol solutions that are applied in the form of a spray – for example facial and body toners, hydrolats, hair sprays, air fresheners, mild cleaning solutions or disinfectant sprays. For formulations with a higher content of essential oils or solvents we always recommend testing compatibility with the packaging material so that the plastic does not soften or the function of the spray pump is not affected.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this PET packaging if I do not want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations listed in the product parameters. The bottle is made of PET, which belongs in sorted waste intended for plastics, and it is advisable to empty the packaging as much as possible and if necessary rinse it from product residues. The spray pump may be made of a combination of several plastics and metal parts, so it is advisable to follow local waste sorting rules. By correctly placing it in the recycling system, you help to reuse the material and reduce environmental burden.
