A clear 150 ml jar with a black screw-on lid is a ready-to-fill set for thicker and semi-solid products. The transparent wall reveals the colour and texture of the contents, the black lid creates a strong contrast and looks clean even without a label. The wide opening makes filling with a spatula or spoon easy and allows customers to comfortably scoop the contents with their fingers.

The set is particularly suited for creams, body butters, scrubs, masks, balms, bath salts or loose blends. The jar and lid are both approved for direct food contact, so the set can also be used for homemade spreads, spices, dried herbs or other food products. How the set works

• PET jar – lightweight, shatter-proof and transparent, so the contents are visible from every side. Suitable for retail as well as personal use where you want to identify the contents at a glance.
• PP lid with sealing insert – the rigid PP lid body is complemented by softer layers of LDPE and foam polyethylene (EPE) that adhere to the jar neck when tightened, aiding the seal.
• Matching neck type – the jar and lid share the same thread (specified in the product parameters), so the set fits without play and can be opened and closed repeatedly.
• Low, wide shape – the jar stands stably, makes it easy to scoop out the remaining contents at the bottom, and is simple to clean.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the volume the jar is intended to hold when filled normally. The total brim volume is the physical capacity up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference provides a reserve for the lid, for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes, and for comfortable closing without forcing product onto the thread. Fill to the nominal volume, not to the brim. The nominal volume is stated in the product parameters.

What to know before filling

Before first use, wash both the jar and lid, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. Moisture remaining under the lid or in the sealing insert can shorten the stability of water-based products.

PET tolerates standard creams, oils and water-based formulations. For products with a high proportion of essential oils, alcohol or solvents, we recommend testing the material behaviour on a sample first. Watch for cloudiness, softening of the wall or changes in odour over a few weeks. The jar and lid are not intended for hot filling; allow the product to cool before filling.

The set is suitable for reuse. After emptying, simply wash, disinfect and allow to dry. The flat side wall of the jar and the flat lid both serve as labelling surfaces. Both parts are recyclable as plastic according to the material code shown on the product page.
