FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The packaging can be reused if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection of the packaging we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after cleaning and complete drying is the packaging ready for repeated use with a new filling.

How should I properly clean the bottle before first use?

Before first use, we recommend mechanically rinsing the packaging with suitable water, allowing it to drain, and then disinfecting it with an alcohol solution. In practice, it has proven effective to rinse the internal space and treat the surface of the packaging with alcohol-based products, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature and only then fill it with the final product.

Is this plastic packaging suitable for use at high temperatures or for boiling?

Plastic packaging intended for cosmetic use is generally not designed for long-term exposure to high temperatures. When overheated, deformation of the bottle shape, deterioration of the cap sealing or changes in the material properties may occur. We do not recommend washing the packaging in a dishwasher or boiling it. For cleaning and disinfection, it is more appropriate to use alcohol solutions at room temperature, which are gentle on the material and at the same time effective from a hygiene perspective.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle the bottle after it has been used up?

If you decide not to continue reusing the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over for recycling, it is advisable to rinse out any product residues as much as possible, in order to minimize contamination of sorted waste. Then place the packaging into the appropriate container for sorted plastic collection according to local waste management rules. In this way, you support the reprocessing of the material and reduce the amount of waste.
