In the case of a high proportion of alcohol or intensive aromatic components, however, we recommend testing the selected combination of packaging and closure to verify the tightness of the thread and the compatibility of the sealing for long-term storage.

Can I use this glass bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and affecting the stability of the new batch of product.

How to properly clean the glass packaging before first use and before refilling?

Before first use and before refilling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and then rinsing with demineralised or distilled water to minimise mineral residues. After drying, the packaging must be disinfected with alcohol (for example IPA 99 or ethanol 96) and left to evaporate. Only then is the bottle ready to be filled with the final product.
