FAQ – Frequently asked questions

How can I safely reuse this plastic bottle?

The packaging can be reused if proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or with ethanol of plant origin. Only after it has dried thoroughly is the packaging ready for further safe use with a new formulation.

Is the plastic bottle suitable for exposure to high temperatures or for washing in a dishwasher?

The plastic material of the packaging used is not intended for long-term or repeated exposure to high temperatures. Do not use it in a dishwasher or for boiling, in order to prevent deformation of the bottle, damage to the dispenser or deterioration of sealing properties. For cleaning, lukewarm water, a mild detergent and subsequent disinfection with a suitable alcohol solution according to the instructions for use are recommended.

How do I correctly set and test the dosing before the final filling of the product?

Before filling the entire batch, we recommend carrying out a trial filling with a smaller amount of the formulation. Check the smooth operation of the pump, the amount dispensed per dose, the back suction and the sealing around the neck. For more viscous or very thin products, it is advisable to verify that the dispenser works without clogging or spontaneous dripping. Only after a successful test do we recommend filling the full volume of the planned batch.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not plan to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, to hand it over for recycling according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Check the material designation and follow the local rules for sorted waste collection (most often the collection container for plastics). By separating the plastic bottle and the dispenser according to the material type, you will support more efficient waste processing and reduce the environmental burden.
