Is this glass dropper bottle also suitable for products containing alcohol or active substances?

Glass is generally a very stable and chemically resistant packaging material, which in most cases is also suitable for formulations containing alcohol or concentrated active substances. However, we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – fill a small amount of the product, close the packaging, observe it in the short and long term and verify whether there are any changes in fragrance, colour, viscosity, or damage to the sealing of the chosen closure.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the glass dropper bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example with isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant-based ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured). Only after the packaging has completely dried and aired is it appropriate to proceed with filling a new batch of product.

How should I correctly clean and prepare the glass dropper bottle before first use?

Before first use, we recommend rinsing the packaging with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the bottle – for example by rinsing or spraying with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allowing it to dry again. When working, it is important to use clean tools and work in the cleanest environment possible in order to minimise microbial contamination of the prepared product.

How should I recycle this glass bottle if I no longer want to use it?

The glass part can, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in the appropriate glass collection container.
