Plastic bottle – medicine bottle with dosing pump represents a practical and reliable packaging for a wide range of liquid cosmetic products and other formulations. Thanks to the combination of a high-quality plastic body and a functional pump, it enables comfortable, more precise and hygienic dispensing without unnecessary contact of the contents with the external environment. This type of packaging is popular for packing products that require repeated application in smaller quantities and controlled release.
The packaging is particularly suitable for packing liquid emulsions, serums, gels, facial and body care products and other products where protection of the composition against contamination and minimisation of contact with oxygen and impurities is important. The practical pump helps reduce the risk of spillage or waste and supports consistent consumption of the packaged product. Thanks to the darker design of the packaging, it is particularly suitable for formulations that are more sensitive to light and require better storage conditions.
This bottle with plastic pump is created on Handymade as a complete and functional combination of packaging and dispensing element, ready for direct use with the relevant formulation. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if handled appropriately and not damaged, but it is always necessary to observe basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and the pump with a suitable disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Only after drying and visual inspection of cleanliness is the packaging ready for a new filling.
First, we recommend mechanically removing residues of the original product and rinsing the packaging with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. Subsequently, it is appropriate to apply disinfection – for example by means of isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of vegetable origin. After treatment with the disinfectant, let the packaging dry thoroughly at room temperature. For the pump, we recommend "pumping through" the disinfectant solution several times in order to clean the internal dosing path as well.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, therefore we do not recommend washing it in a dishwasher or boiling it. Excessive thermal stress may lead to deformation of the bottle walls, deterioration of the sealing or damage to the pump. For cleaning, it is more suitable to use lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection with an alcohol-based product as needed.
Before discarding the packaging, we recommend removing as much of the original product residues as possible. The plastic body of the bottle itself as well as the plastic pump are disposed of according to the type of material used, which is indicated in the parameter table for the product on Handymade. After identifying the material, you place the packaging in the appropriate sorted waste according to local collection rules (for example, plastic packaging in the yellow container, if the collection system in your area allows it). In the case of combined materials, it is appropriate to separate individual parts (e.g. the bottle and the pump) and sort them separately according to the recommendations of your collection system.
The simplest way is to use the extended filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category (for example bottles, medicine bottles or cosmetic packaging), you will find the filter at the top of the page. You can set the required packaging parameters in it – neck type, size, colour and material. By combining several filters, you will quickly narrow down the range only to those packages that best correspond to the properties of your product and the intended way of use.
