Plastic bottle with pump represents a practical and durable packaging for hygiene and cosmetic products for which you need to ensure convenient and controlled dispensing. It is suitable for filling liquid and gel products that require clean application without contact of the contents with air and hands. Thanks to its robust design, the packaging is stable during storage and use, and supports the professional appearance of the final product.
This type of bottle with dosing pump is designed for reliable and repeatable dispensing, which reduces the risk of contamination of the contents. Even dispensing, practical closing and a solid shape design make this plastic container a suitable solution for artisanal and small-scale professional production of cosmetics and hygiene products.
This packaging is supplied directly with a pump, whereby the combination bottle + dosing closure is created on Handymade as a functional unit. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially when using active substances, essential oils or a high proportion of alcohol.
All technical parameters of the packaging are indicated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The pump bottle is ideal especially for liquid and medium-viscosity products such as facial and body lotions, lighter creams, gels and liquid soaps. For very thick formulations we recommend producing a small test batch and testing dispensing in order to check whether the product is transferred through the pump without problems and no clogging occurs.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle and the pump in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the product. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the alcohol, let all parts dry completely and only then refill the bottle.
After emptying the packaging we recommend disassembling the pump according to the possibilities of the construction and rinsing it with warm water with a mild cleaning agent. Then run clean water through the mechanism to remove product residues from the internal channels. Before further use it is advisable to disinfect the pump with alcohol and let it dry completely. Avoid using excessively hot water or aggressive solvents which could shorten the lifetime of the mechanism.
If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it in sorted waste collection according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters. It is advisable to disassemble the bottle and pump into individual parts and sort them according to local plastic collection rules. Always follow the material pictogram and the recommendations of your collection yard or municipality. In this way you will support material recycling and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
The simplest way is to use the extended filter in the relevant packaging material category. After clicking on the category at the top of the page you will find the option of detailed filtering, where you can select suitable packaging according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material. By combining these filters you will quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that technically and in terms of design corresponds to your product.
Many cosmetic formulations containing alcohol or essential oils are compatible with this type of plastic packaging, but we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test with the specific recipe. Fill a smaller amount of product into one bottle and observe the behaviour of the material (colour changes, softening, deformation) and the function of the pump over several days to weeks. With a higher proportion of alcohol or highly concentrated essential oils, test filling is important for long-term safe use of the packaging.
