FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is it possible to use this bottle with pump repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling and if undamaged. However, with each new filling it is essential to follow basic hygiene principles – thoroughly clean the bottle and pump and then disinfect them with a suitable preparation (for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and airing is the bottle ready for refilling.

How to correctly clean the bottle and pump before further use?

First we recommend disassembling the packaging – separating the bottle from the pump and any cap. Remove residues of the original product mechanically, then rinse all parts with warm water and a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. After washing it is appropriate to disinfect the surfaces and internal parts with an alcohol-based preparation (e.g. IPA or ethanol) and let them dry completely. For plastic packaging it is not suitable to use extremely hot water or boiling, so that deformation or damage to the functional parts of the pump does not occur.

How can I dispose of or recycle this bottle in an environmentally friendly way?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameter table (recycling symbol and material abbreviation). Before placing it in the appropriate container it is advisable to empty the bottle and remove any residue of the contents. In the case of a combination of different materials (for example a plastic bottle and a plastic-metal pump) it is ideal to separate the individual parts and sort them according to local recycling rules. In this way you support more efficient waste processing and reuse of the material.

For what type of products is the pump bottle most suitable?

The pump packaging is particularly effective for liquid or slightly viscous preparations where precise and convenient dosing is required. You will use it for liquid soaps, body and face lotions, cleansing gels, lighter hair preparations or disinfecting solutions. For thick butters or highly viscous creams, dosing may be more difficult, therefore for your own formulations we recommend testing the consistency and dosing before finally filling all packages.
