Cosmetic bases: a ready-made head start for your own cosmetics

A cosmetic base is a pre-formulated foundation in which the hardest part of production — a stable emulsion and the right ratios of ingredients — is already solved. You add fragrance, colour or active ingredients, fill it into packaging and have a finished product. No emulsifying, no weighing out phases, no experiments that end up down the sink.

Which base for which product

  • Hair care: the BIO shampoo base (100 ml trial size for €3.14) and the BIO conditioner base — just add fragrance and fine-tune with actives to suit the hair type.
  • Body care: the body butter base for whipped butters and the natural massage oil base, which only needs a few drops of fragrance.
  • Gels and serums: aloe vera gel (200 g for €7.99, with 5 kg and 25 kg buckets for production) as a cooling, hydrating foundation.

Who it is for: a first product or a quick production run

For a beginner, a base delivers a first working product in a single evening — the cheapest way in is the BIO conditioner base, 100 g for €1.29. Small workshops will value the repeatability: a batch made from the same base turns out the same every time, and large packs keep the unit price low. A separate item is demineralised water (1 l for €2.79, canisters up to 20 l) — a pure, mineral-free carrier and diluent for water-based recipes.
